The mayor of Trenque Lauquen, in the Province of Buenos Aires, Miguel Fernández, announced the launch of special raffles for people who join the campaign of vaccination against coronavirus.
The Buenos Aires municipality intends to encourage the vaccination among the youngest, who have become the least immunized population at the national level. The authorities recalled that the inoculation process It is fast and does not generate major difficulties.
In search of continuing the vaccination, Trenque Lauquen announced that it will raffle cell phones and tablets to stimulate children and young people, mainly. The idea is that more people sign up and automatically participate in the raffle.
The start of classes is close and before the schools open, this party of the Province wants to bring peace of mind to parents and offer a safe space with a low risk of contagion.
The only way to do it, according to Miguel Fernández, is through vaccination and to do so, the largest number of people possible must be reached. “The idea of the municipality is to stimulate and reward the children who sign up to be vaccinated,” said the official.
When and how to register
On Tuesday, February 1, a registry will be opened on the municipality’s website, where those who register to get the injection against COVID 19, they will have to enter their full name, ID number, date of birth and vaccination date.
The draw will be public and its date will be announced when classes begin. “Vaccination protects us and we can start classes calmer. We want to give a little push to those who are a little behind with the scheme”remarked the owner of the town.
