An official from the Mendoza municipality of Rivadavia claimed responsibility for State terrorism in a publication made in the last few hours on her social networks, and political and social leaders of the province repudiated her and called for her resignation or removal.
This is Claudia Jaunin (UCR), deputy director of the Tourism area of the municipality of Rivadavia60 kilometers east of the provincial capital, who shared a post on Facebookwith a montage that vindicates the civic-military dictatorship and refers to the kidnapping of people.
In the post, which was later deleted but had previously been captured by network users, President Alberto Fernández, Vice President Cristina Kirchner, the Governor of Buenos Aires, Axel Kicillof, and the head of the Chamber of Deputies, Sergio Massa appear inside the trunk of a green Ford Falcon car and standing next to the vehicle the genocidal Jorge Rafael Videla.
The montage posted by another user that the official replied to in her personal account bears the legend “the dream of all good Argentines” and unleashed a wave of repudiation, aggravated by her status as a civil servant.

“The claim of State terrorism by a municipal government official is very serious and inadmissible in a democracy. That is why I ask the mayor of Rivadavia, Miguel Ronco, for the urgent resignation of the deputy director of Tourism, Claudia Jaunin,” councilor Juan Manuel Villalba, of the Frente de Todos, posted on his social networks.
For its part, the president of the block of senators from Mendoza of the Frente de Todos, Lucas Ilardo, posted “Undersecretary of Tourism of Rivadavia vindicating Videla. I hope that Mayor Miguel Ronco immediately requests his resignation and asks for official apologies. So long and we have yet to see these types of posts. They exude so much hate that they can’t control it later.”
“They are not life nor are they peace. The claim of state terrorism by the official of the radical municipality of Rivadavia is repudiable,” the national deputy of the Frente de Todos Marisa Uceda added via Twitter.
Meanwhile, after the scandal, from the commune they indicated to local media that this Monday the mayor will meet with the official.
