After several hard work and complex operations, Ángel, the worker who was found with half his body buried by the slope that fell in the South zone, was rescued alive and evacuated to the Hospital de Clínicas.

Arias confirmed that the search work with dogs continues to find the other two workers.
The landslide occurred this Thursday afternoon in the vicinity of Calle 15 de Calacoto, near Costanera Avenue, in a construction that, according to Arias, is illegal and was promoted with the authorization of the municipality of Palca.
Both Mayor Arias and the Municipal Risk Secretary, Juan Pablo Palma, stressed that the building did not have permission from the La Paz commune.
The mayor announced proceedings against the company involved in the “irregular construction.”
