Officers from the 42nd Central Police Station reported a mishap in the city of Itá, which involved a Toyota brand truck, which apparently was traveling at high speed.
At one point, the driver lost control, because supposedly the brake did not respond to him in a sharp curve, after which he overturned.
Five people were traveling in the truck, two in the cabin and three in the body. Of the latter, two jumped and suffered blows, but were saved, while the 16-year-old adolescent was unable to escape and was crushed to death.
The men had to transport materials to a pottery for which they worked and the minor had permission from his parents for this activity, according to testimonies.
The prosecutor Daisy Sánchez, from penal unit 2, intervened in the case. The forensic doctor on duty and Criminalistics agents also attended.
