Los Alcarrizos.– A merchant was shot and wounded by an unknown person in an incident that occurred around 10:50 this Tuesday morningwhile he was inside a business located in the central Duarte streetof this municipality.
According to the medical report of the Dr. Vinicio Calventi Hospitalthe injured person was identified as Wilkin Misael Sosa Friasof 45 years oldwho presents a gunshot wound to the left legso he remains admitted to said center under medical observation.
According to the victim, an individual approached the establishment and, without saying wordsfired a shot, immediately fleeing.

The merchant was taken to the hospital by a friend identified as Arizona Cuevas.
The incident is being investigated by members of the Homicide Investigations Departmentin coordination with the Dicrimwith the aim of identifying, locating and arresting the person responsible, as well as clarifying the circumstances of the attack.
