The Canelones Justice handed down a prison sentence against a 45-year-old man after it was proven that he sexually abused his 11-year-old daughter.
The fact was reported by the Canarian Police Headquarters. According to the report, in April 2021 a woman appeared before the Solymar Specialized Police Station for Domestic and Gender Violence to report that her partner, a man, sexually abused their daughter, an 11-year-old girl. age.
The woman said that the episodes of abuse took place in the family’s home, located in the town of El Pinar.
The Prosecutor’s Office then began an investigation and, as part of it, issued a precautionary measure against the man. Finally, after collecting the necessary information and complying with the judicial process, the Justice sentenced the subject for repeated crimes of aggravated sexual abuse.
As a sentence, the man must now effectively serve three years in prison.
