SANTIAGO.- A man was riddled with multiple bullets last night by another man in a community in the municipality of Pimentel, in the Duarte province (San Francisco de Macorís).
The deceased was identified as Edwin Bruno (Mariachi), who was attacked while he was getting out of his vehicle in the Casa Vieja community, in the municipality of Pimentel, reported the police authorities of that town.
According police reportsBruno’s attacker was riding a motorcycle and as soon as he committed the crime he fled the scene.
Nothing was stolen from the victim and his body was taken to the municipal hospital in Pimentel for an autopsy.
It was reported that there are several surveillance cameras in some businesses at the location where the incident occurred.

The National Police reported that the investigation is intensifying to try to identify the murderer.
It was not reported what activity Bruno was engaged in.
