A man was arrested this Friday after remaining entrenched in a building in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Almagro after injuring his friends with knives, police sources reported.
the event occurred in the afternoon on Estado de Palestina street at 500, in Almagro, where members of the 5A Neighborhood Police Station of the City Police were alerted because a man who remained entrenched with a knife, after injuring other people.
Police spokesmen informed Télam that the uniformed officers verified the presence of the victims in the hall of the building with injuries to their arms and hands, for which they requested the presence of the Emergency Medical Care System (SAME).
The victims stated that they were friends of the attacker, who had barricaded himself in the building after attacking them.
For this reason, agents from the Metropolitan Special Operations Division (DOEM) of the City Police were deployed, who minutes later managed to get the attacker to hand over the knife and open the apartment door, after which he was arrested.
The West Flagrancy Unit intervened in the case and ordered the arrest of the man and the seizure of the three knives that he had in his possession, reported police sources.
