MÉRIDA, Mexico.- A fight unleashed in the “Ranchón Cohíba” restaurant in the San Luis municipality, in Pinar del Río, ended in the murder of a man, as confirmed CubaNet with a local source.
The person who offered his testimony anonymously, for fear of reprisals, identified the victim as Yohandry Montesino León, a young man residing in El Corojo, San Luis.
According to the account of Facebook “From Pinar Soy”, related to the Ministry of the Interior (MININT), Yohandry, approximately 38 years old, was stabbed this Sunday during a fight there.
Two other people were injured in the dispute. According to the information provided on that site, the police arrested three individuals involved and are still searching for a possible fourth suspect.
“Local police immediately arrested three of those involved. They inform us that there is another possible related one that is about to be stopped. At least two more people were injured, without danger to life. EPD Yoandry, let us reflect on this and be consistent in the face of any impulse towards violence, which will never be the best solution,” the site wrote.
