The driver of a truck died this morning when the cargo vehicle he was driving got confused and overturned on the central trace of the Pan-American highway (former route 9), at the height of the Bonaerense district of Campana, road sources reported.
It all started after 2 o’clock at kilometer 75 of the Pan-American highway, at the limit where the concession of the Ausol company ends, when the driver of the truck that was traveling in the direction of the City of Buenos Aires lost control, for reasons that try to establish, crossed the lane and overturned on the hand that goes towards the city of Rosario.
As a result of the incident, the driver died on the spot, according to the doctors of a highway ambulance that attended the scene along with road personnel and the Buenos Aires police.
Due to the total closure of the highway, due to the work of the Campana firefighters and the subsequent removal of the truck, the police diverted traffic to the collector and Route 6, which caused some delays in the area.
