Departmental prosecutor Róger Mariaca confirmed the incident and stated that an alleged case of femicide is being investigated. The victim, identified as Eulalia Julia Cabezas, 58, was taken to the morgue of the Pampa de la Isla hospital for the legal autopsy that will determine the exact causes of her death.

Daniel Ortuño, a prosecutor specializing in crimes against life, reported that the incident occurred around 3:00 in the morning, when the woman and her husband were consuming alcoholic beverages at home. According to neighbors, the husband left the house and told them that there were people who wanted to evict him from his home. Upon entering the house, the neighbors found the woman’s bloody body.
