News Colombia.
As in Biblical times, Colombia will have a Noah’s Ark and it is in Casanare, because in Cali there is a tourist center called that, but its concept is much more landscape and party and it is not a ‘ship’.
The structure of almost 60 meters in length will have an animal museum inside, it is being built in the municipality of Tauramena in Casanare.
It is expected that by the end of April it will be finished, and in June at the latest, it will open to the public.
The capacity of ‘Noah’s Ark’ is designed for approximately 600 people and religious tourism is expected to grow with the construction.
“We want the people who come to visit us to leave happy, happy for a project that has been innovative and that we have not had here,” said José Cediel Cadena, foreman.
Jenny Parrales, businesswoman and one of the creators of the Ark, indicated that “the story of faith will be recreated around what God said to Noah.”
“We wanted to represent with this work a very important event that is in the book of Genesis, it has to do with the preservation of life on Earth, a task that was entrusted to Noah,” he said.
