Mocha.-In a joint operation, agents of the PNational Police, assigned to the Espaillat Regional Directorate and the Intelligence Subdirectorate (DINTEL), in coordination with the J-2, preventive agents and the Public Ministry, they dismantled a clandestine workshop where illegal firearms and blanks were allegedly modified for illicit activities.

The operation was carried out at the residence of José Luis Veras, located on Sánchez de El Higüerito Street, after intelligence investigations that confirmed the existence of the clandestine workshop.

The operation, carried out in the municipal district El Higüerito, Espaillat province, was authorized under search warrant No. 598-1-2025-SAUT-00012.

2 pistols: a black SIG SAUER without legible numbering and another silver 9mm caliber, serial No. 874707, without visible mark.
2 revolvers: one silver and one black, both without numbering or legible markings.
10 modified blank weapons of various brands and calibers, including Luger, Soraqui, Bereda and Walter pistols, some with illegible numbering.
25 pistol frames, 16 magazines, 10 pistol slides, 1 revolver frame, and 1 shotgun barrel.
Tools and machinery used to modify weapons, such as blowtorches, drills, polishers, and a lathe or milling machine.

Everything seized is in police custody and will be delivered to the Public Ministry for the corresponding legal purposes.
