Animalist Platform will call a demonstration next Wednesday

A horse that participated in the Creole Week ring died this Sunday after suffering a hip trauma.
The fracture caused a “femoral arterial hemorrhage”as indicated by the Municipality of Montevideo, who put a team of veterinarians at his disposal.
“The animal was transferred to receive the corresponding assistance” and there his death was confirmed, indicates the communiqué of the Administration.
This Sunday was the first day of the 96th edition of the Criolla Week in Rural del Prado which will conclude next Sunday, April 9. The opening of the event organized by the Municipality of Montevideo had as main news a horse that died in the arena.
As a consequence the Animalist Platform of Uruguay will convene a concentration next Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. in front of the Rural del Prado to claim the suspension of the horse riding, according to his Twitter account.
