SANTO DOMINGO.- The Nuestra Señora de la Altagracia Maternity University Hospital (HUMNSA) registered the birth of the first male baby of the year 2023, who came into the world in perfect health via cesarean section at 12:00 midnight.
The mother was 37.3 weeks pregnant, who arrived in an emergency with unassured fetal well-being in tachycardia.
The new baby of 2023 is the daughter of Mrs. Janifer Cartright, 21-year-old Dominican national, single mother residing in the Villa Juana sector.
The information was released by doctor Jorge Jiménez, general director, who congratulated the parents on the arrival of their baby in perfect health.
The mother arrived via emergency at 11:20 on December 31, 2022, and was under the responsibility of doctors Sanchez and Rosario gynecologist, together with the nursing staff on duty.
Steven Alberto’s mother thanked the medical team that assisted her for the humane and professional treatment received in the birth process of her descendant.
