Punta Cana.- Since the early hours of this Wednesday there has been a Forest fire at Cap Cana resort, La Altagracia Province.
According to information, the director of the Emergency Operations Center (COE) has been working and coordinating since last night with the operations of POLITUR and the Punta Cana Fire Department to try to quell the incident.

So far no deaths have been reported and the authorities have not commented on the causes that caused the forest fire.
