The Cali Volunteer Fire Department responded to a structural fire that occurred in the San Antonio neighborhood. The people who lived in the building lost everything.
According to the official report, the incident occurred in Carrera 10 with Calle 5, in a single-level building, which was used as a dwelling, where there was also a carpentry and a small recycling warehouse.
The relief agency attended the emergency with two fire extinguishing machines, with eight units, a height machine and an ambulance with two paramedics.
According to Jairo Quesada, shift chief, Sergeant of the Barrio Alameda Fire Station, the conflagration consumed the belongings, but did not leave injured people.

“Upon our arrival, the fire was in the entire one-story building where a carpentry and a house workedaccording to the census we carried out, fifteen people were affected by the incineration of belongings, howeverthe emergency left no injuries”said the sergeant.
The same way, eyewitnesses of the emergency assured that in the face of this situation, those affected request help, both from the competent authorities and from the community, because they lost everything.
Added to this emergency is the drama of three canines that were abandoned, therefore, the sergeant of the Fire Department indicated that they are looking for a temporary home for the pets.
“We are coordinating to locate a temporary home for the dogs, and to cooperate with food,” said the sergeant.

It is worth mentioning that animalists make a presence in the house to help with the relocation of pets, one of which is pregnant.
Until now, the causes of the conflagration are a matter of investigation.
