Santo Domingo.- The National Police, in collaboration with the Department of Complex Crimes of the Public Ministry, captured the captain of the Air Force of the Dominican Republic (FARD), Fraylin Pérez Camacho, accused of participating in the death of second lieutenant Junior Reyes Chalasbelonging to the same military institution.
The crime occurred last Sunday, December 15 in the Hainamosa sector, municipality of Santo Domingo Este.
In addition to Captain Pérez Camacho, Estiven Herrera, alias “Wilito” or “Moto,” was arrested. Meanwhile, authorities continue to search for two fugitives identified as Tommy Antonio Ortiz, alias “Jhonci el Mecánico,” and an individual known as “El Gordo.”

The event was recorded on video surveillance cameras, whose images quickly went viral on social networks and the media.
The spokesperson for the PoliceColonel Diego Pesqueira, said in a press conference that according to the preliminary report, Pérez Camacho was the one who located the victim, Reyes Chalaswhile driving a SUV with two of the assailants.
Investigations indicate that the fugitive “El Gordo” was waiting aboard a motorcyclefrom where he was approached by the detained Pérez Camacho and Herrera, who later identified their victim at the scene. At that moment, those involved broke into the place where Reyes Chalas, 38, was playing dominoes with several people near his residence.
Security cameras showed how Captain Pérez Camacho’s vehicle, a white 2011 Toyota Land Cruiser Prado, with license plate G240236, passed by the place where the officer was located twice.
