The man died after receiving two shots from a firearm; he had at least four criminal records

A 44-year-old man was found this Saturday in a ditch on Dayman and Acuña de Figueroa streets, in the El Pinar spa, in Canelones, reported the Headquarters of that department. The man had a wound “that caused him to bleed profusely,” explained Alejandro Ferreria, spokesman for the Headquarters.
The person was taken to a health center, where he died from two gunshots. The man was identified by the police and it was found that he had at least four criminal records, two of them for especially aggravated robberies, for which he was sentenced to prison.
The prosecutor of the Coast, the investigation area of Operational Zone III, the personnel of section 27 of El Pinar and the homicide department of the Canelones Headquarters are working on the case.
