A Cuban is stabbed 13 times in a street fight

MADRID, Spain.- A Cuban was stabbed by another 13 times after a street fight in recent days, in La Caridad Park, in the city of Sancti Spíritus.

As reported by the local media Escambray, the two involved argued because the victim owed money to the wife of the aggressor.

In the middle of the fight, “suddenly and without prior warning, the attacker used a machete that he was carrying, with which he caused two injuries to the victim’s head, both diagnosed as not serious, but requiring medical treatment.”

Subsequently, the attacker went to his home and returned with a knife, with which he attacked him again, stabbing him 13 times in the neck, back, and chest.

The injured man was transferred to the Camilo Cienfuegos Provincial General Hospital in Sancti Spíritus, reported as serious and life threatening.

According to the Criminal Investigation Body of the Ministry of the Interior (MININT) cited by escambraand, the aggressor, who is in custody, presents several criminal records for the crimes of rape, currency trafficking, threat and danger index.

Last week, an elderly Cuban identified as Braulio Sergio La O Abreu was murdered in Camagüey for stealing a cell phone, money and his motorcycle.

While in November Geovanis Padrón Abreu, a resident of the municipality of Colón, Matanzas, he murdered his mother already a neighbor In addition, she attacked two other people.
