The third Departmental Summit for the Census determined to convene a council for next Friday, September 30, at the feet of Christ Redeemer, where the necessary pressure measures will be taken, based on the mandate to get the census done in 2023.
The measure arises from the breach of the national government of the agreement signed on August 15in the meeting he held with the Santa Cruz institutions around the census, when the delivery of the advance schedule of the national consultation was requested. The document which was delivered this Friday, according to the rector of the Uagrm and president of the Interinstitutional Committee for the Promotion of the Census, Vicente Cuéllar, consisted of a summary of the slides that were presented during the meeting on August 15.
The summit, held this Friday afternoon at the Gilberto Parejas Coliseum, which was attended by representatives of more than 400 institutions Cruceñas, it was also provided that:
1. The technical team of the Interinstitutional Commission meets and analyzes the information received from the INE and that with technical teams from the rest of the country prepare a consensual proposal and supplemented.
2. Require the Ministry of Planning to On September 12, the working tables with the INE, Cepal, and Unfpa will be installed to present the country with an agreed date for the 2023 census.
3. Coordinate actions with national authorities and institutions so that, between September 19 and 23 organize the National Summit for a timely and transparent census, with the presence of the President of the State. The objective is that a definitive date of the census can be arranged in the 2023 administration.
4. That through the parliamentary brigade all the corresponding legal actions against the Minister of Planning and the director of the INE for having published false information (on the INE website) regarding census activities.
5. Demand from the Public Ministry and the Judiciary the immediate and unrestricted release of those deprived of liberty for defending this noble cause of the fight for the census.
