A worker who was trapped after the partial collapse of a construction site in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Palermo was rescued by a special team of firefighters, the City Government reported.
The incident occurred around 5:40 p.m. this Tuesday in a construction site located at 1700 Coronel Díaz, two blocks from the Alto Palermo shopping mall and the operator was rescued under the remains of woodfor which he was transferred with injuries to the Fernández Hospital.
After 9:00 p.m., the K9 fire department ruled out the existence of more victims and the City Relief Guard evaluated the structure of the work to prevent further landslideswhich was in an incipient stage with the excavation to make the foundations.
