A complete journey: what is the longest bus trip in Colombia?

Traveling by land in Colombia allows you to get to know the country in a more economicalthough it can take a long time, clearly, depending on the destination you are going to.

Among the longest routes available are the Cali (Cauca Valley) and Maicao (La Guajira)which, according to Google Maps, can last about 30 hoursconsidering that you must first get to Bogotá and start again from there.

You can also talk about the route between the capital of Valle del Cauca and Cartagena de Indias. According to the road trip ticket app ‘Busbud’, this journey takes approximately, 33 hoursand, as in the previous one, a stop must be made in the country’s capital before travelling to the ‘Heroic’.

However, the longest route currently available in the country is the one that covers Barranquilla and Ipiales (Nariño)with an approximate duration of 37 hours. According to ‘Busbud’.

This route also includes a stopover in Bogotá, with a 17-hour journey, before leaving for Ipiales for the remaining 20 hours of travel. This route, operated by Copetran, has an approximate value of 310,000 pesos.
