A company in the BPO sector opened 300 vacancies to work in Colombia: how to aspire?

With a view to boosting job creation in Colombia, which seems to be stagnating, more and more companies are taking advantage of the change in economic dynamics and the slow recovery that has been seen for a few weeks, to bet on hiring staff and in this way expand its presence and offers, locally and internationally.

This is the case of Intelcia, one of the companies in the BPO sector that is making its way in the country and this week announced the growth of its team in Colombia with the opening of 300 positions, with a view to achieving a growth of 15% in its sales and advance the digital transformation plan that it promotes for 2024.

María del Pilar Barrios, Chief Growth Officer Latam of Intelcia, their bet in the BPO sector is to increase the pull of 30 clients they currently have and the staff of 80 professionals specialized in electronic commerce, systems and networks to provide technical and strategic support in the territories where they have a presence.

“While generative artificial intelligence and big data are within reach of everyonethe real difference lies in offering innovative solutions adapted to the business strategies of each brand. Therefore, we want that talent that is looking for an opportunity to come to us and we grow together,” he indicated.

In addition to the new jobs, the growth in sales and the digital transformation plan, María del Pilar Barrios explained that they implement an automation strategy to achieve a more personalized service; in which the use of new technologies is also a fundamental part.

“The use of artificial intelligence and chatbots allows queries to be resolved quickly and precise, reducing waiting times and impacting the user experience,” explained Barrios; which in turn highlighted that the company focuses on analyzing large volumes of interactions in real time, personalizing responses and anticipating customer needs.

Among the positions they are looking for at Intelcia, according to what is published on their social networks, there are possibilities to develop as a customer service professional, collection management, customer service, commercial specialist and insurance market agent, to develop in cities such as Medellín and Bogotá, as well as some municipalities of Antioquia.

Although the offers mostly offer salaries between $1.3 million and $1.4 million, it should be noted that some of them offer incentives such as performance or hiring bonuses, as well as commissions on sales and extralegal benefits and early morning shifts with a 36-hour work week, as well as collections advisors who work from Monday to Friday, with two Saturdays off per month.
