A commitment to popular tradition

The event took place on Sunday, June 12, and was attended by thousands of people, who joyfully celebrated their patron saint: Saint Anthony of Padua.

The patronal party was organized by members of the Municipality of San Antonio and other volunteers, who through the activity managed to raise funds for the maintenance of the community and social activities.

Robert Walder, Industrial Director in Paraguay, mentioned that the donation of hundreds of kilos of meat seeks to contribute and support the community of San Antonio, which houses one of the company’s main plants in Paraguay.

“From Minerva Foods we thank the organization of the patronal party for receiving our contribution. In addition, we emphasize that being part of this social activity reinforces our commitment to the benefit and development of the community”, said Walder.

Antonio highlighted that the patronal celebration was a complete success, in addition to the good response shown by the residents of the city.

“We are very grateful to the companies that support us in social activities. We received many compliments from people who tasted the dishes that were offered. We are very happy for the donation and the good quality of the meat that they sent us from Minerva Foods”, he concluded.

Previously, based on its sustainability strategy, Minerva Foods supported and participated in the Innovation Tour, promoted by the World Table for Sustainable Meat and the Paraguayan Table for Sustainable Meat, taking into account that the main concerns of the industries now revolve around around production based on good environmental practices.

During this event, conferences and visits to breeding and rearing systems production establishments were held, in which topics such as pasture supplementation according to the seasons and particular situations of soil and climate were discussed, among other aspects of agricultural production.
