Although the Municipality of Quito indicated that the project has no impact on what happened in La Comuna and La Gasca, sectors of Quito where the mud from the alluvium has affected more than 400 people; there are environmental groups that point out that in the long run, deforestation on the slopes creates events like the one on January 31, 2022.
This February 4, 2022, a tour will be carried out in the area to determine the impact of the project, which has been denounced by seven neighborhoods of the Belisario Quevedo parish. (AVV)
