The West Panama Health Region reiterated to the population of the province the importance of keeping the surroundings clean and avoiding the breeding sites of the Aedes Aegypti mosquito that transmits Dengue Zika and Chikungunya.
They highlighted that the vector control team continues to carry out interventions in the communities that have registered the most cases and house-to-house fogging to avoid mosquito breeding sites.
Meanwhile, the Health Promotion team said that it maintains prevention teaching, making residents aware of the importance of disposing of the garbage that is around their homes, emptying the objects that can accumulate rainwater and placing them upside down, thus preventing the mosquitoes find places to lay their eggs.
