The detached balcony corresponded to the third floor of the building, according to Ariel Torres Sobrino, a resident of one of the apartments on the second floor, the noise scared the whole family.

Ariagna Torres Sobrino, another resident of the property, told the state media that “he could see it coming. We had in possession the original plans of the building and we provided them to the housing authorities at the time so that they would take it into account before carrying out any construction action; now I hope that the decision-makers who have the possibility of settlement in their hands find a solution seeking, of course, the benefit of those who live in this building and the population in general, so as not to affect passers-by and to recover the activity of the fishmonger, located in the lowlands, and continue with the sale of food to the population”.

“At the moment we are going to clean the area, remove all the debris from it, but previously we were already aware of the construction situation of the property and we saw that it had original construction defects, such as the one related to the drainage of water, which Apparently they were contributing to its deterioration.”

“The immediate action is to delimit the area with the collaboration of the MININT, to be able to work with the construction forces in the collection of debris, even today it would have been a greater problem if someone had been affected by the detachment of part of these balconies. , because for a few days the containment barrier and the warning of danger had been removed from the place, ”he added.
