According to that media, Cruz had been arrested on Sunday (August 31), after launching in front of a moving vehicle, a fact that caused damage to the windshield. The next day, “he was found lifeless in his cell.” The same medium said: “According to the first information, he took his life with the help of a cord of his coat.”
Another local newspaper, Nieuws, reported that “a arrested hanged himself in the dungeon” of the Munder’s police post and that the detainee, referred to as Omar C., “had been held by damage.” That portal added that both the Police and the Public Ministry opened a investigation “about the precise circumstances of the incident.”
