4. Ricardo Monreal
As well as for other morenistas, for the coordinator of the Morena senators, Ricardo Monreal, 2022 will be a key year. The Zacatecan politician has expressed his intention to seek the presidential candidacy of Morena towards 2024, however, he has also rejected that it is the survey as a method of selecting candidates.
There are those who hope that the break in Morena begins with the former governor of Zacatecas and former head of the Cuauhtémoc delegation.
Monreal Ávila has advanced that he will not receive as a “consolation prize” a candidacy for the head of Government of Mexico City.

5. Adam Augusto López
For the Secretary of the Interior, the year will begin with the installation of work tables to address, among other issues, a possible electoral reform and an energy reform.
Within days of his appointment, President López Obrador affirmed that Adán Augusto López would help him with the relationship with the governors, with the Attorney General’s Office, with the Judiciary and with the legislature.
One of the secretary’s tasks also includes sending the president’s electoral reform.
6. Mario Delgado
This will be a key year for the national leader of Morena, as he pursues growth and consolidation of the party.
This 2022 six governorships will be in dispute, in which Morena is an advantage in five in the polls that measure the intention to vote.
Under the presidency of Mario Delgado, the party went from being a government in seven entities to 17, since in 2021 it won 10 and repeated its triumph in Baja California.
This year, Morena could go from having 17 to 25 states, that is, ruling 78% of the country.
7. Alejandro Moreno Cárdenas
This year, the PRI leader will face the challenge of not yielding more states to Morena, which looks complicated because in Oaxaca and Hidalgo, where it is still a government, the party founded by President López Obrador has an advantage in preferences.
If under the presidency of Moreno Cárdenas the PRI loses two other states, it will only have two acting governors from its ranks: Miguel Ángel Riquelme Solís in Coahuila and Alfredo de Mazo in the State of Mexico.
