Police investigate the death of a young man from 20 yearswhich was found dead in the Cerro Norte neighborhood of Montevideothis Friday night. He had no criminal record, sources told The Observer.
The police arrived at Pasaje 59 and Porto Alegre, from where a call had come from a person reporting the situation, around 11:00 p.m. The victim had gunshot wounds.
The troops that were sent to the place confirm what was narrated and add that the young man was already lifeless. By protocol, they requested a medical emergency to verify his death.
It was about 11:45 p.m. this Friday when doctors reported death. The case is being investigated by the Scientific Police together with the investigation area of police zone four.
