Units of the National Police apprehended a 57-year-old man in the Jalisco neighborhood, in the district of Chitré, district of Chitré, for his link to a crime of Aggravated Rape.
This person was required by the Herrera Compliance Court, where he was transferred to later receive a criminal sentence of conviction by a Trial Court.
«The sanctioned during the Investigation stage, a Judge of Guarantees decreed legal the apprehension, the formulation of charges and the corresponding Investigation term was established. Later, in the oral trial stage, the Herrera Trial Court found him responsible and sentenced him to 12 years in prison,” the judicial authorities announced.
According to the investigations, this person would have sexually abused a minor under 14 years of age, whom he impregnated and it was determined that the sanctioned man was the victim’s godfather.
