Alto Solimões National Radio Festival holds final show

THE Alto Solimões National Radio announces Music Festival winners with show this Saturday (11). The event will take place at the Amazônia Régia auditorium, in Tabatinga (AM), from 8 pm, local time (at 10 pm in Brasília). In addition to the presentation of the ten finalists in the competition, there will be a commemoration of 15 years of Alto Solimões National Radio. The event’s audience, which will be limited due to restrictions imposed by the covid-19 pandemic, will include guests from the Tabatingu society, broadcasters and guests from the finalist artists. O show will follow the health and safety protocols in force in the region.

The program includes a live presentation of the finalist songs and the choice of seven winning categories: Best Music in Spanish, Best Indigenous Music, Best Music in Portuguese, Best Performer, Best Lyrics, Music most voted on the Internet and Best Fans.

To the Production and Programming coordinator at Alto Solimões National Radio, Miss Lene Ferreira, the festival is very important because “the opportunities and artistic spaces in the region are minimal considering the logistical difficulties and the valorization of new talents”. With the mission of valuing and opening opportunities to established and new artists in the region and showing their productions and talent, the event integrates the languages ​​of the border into cultural and sound rhythms that bring people together through unprecedented musical production.

In its fifth edition, the National Music Festival of Alto Solimões is held by Alto Solimões National Radio, broadcaster of Brazil Communication Company (EBC), and brings together musical talents from the triple border between Brazil, Colombia and Peru. Unpublished musical works competed in the festival, which features singers, composers, instrumentalists and arrangers. Portuguese, Spanish and indigenous languages, such as Tikuna, set the tone for the songs that compete for a place in the selection.
