The protesters and leaders who are closing streets in the province of Chiriquí assured that they will not back down and they hope that the dialogue table established by the government in the province of Veraguas moves to this area of ​​the country, specifically in San Félix.

The leaders affirm that there are other leaders who are negotiating under the table for their own benefit, a situation that will not be accepted.

Álvaro Moreno, one of the protesters, assured that those who are meeting with the government have not gone out to the streets, they represent the people, so they propose that table 13 be moved to the San Félix area in Chiriquí to address the issues of the rise in fuel, food. and medications.
Of course, another of the leaders stressed that they await the presence of the president of the Laurentian Cortizo republic since they had no response from Vice President José Gabriel Carrizo, who said that they will continue to close it in horconcitos, el salado, Tolé and even Viguí.

It was reported that in Veraguas the negotiations have turned violent, as protesters outside the venue where the dialogue is taking place are trying to force their way into the establishment.

Eddy Pinto, a teacher’s leader, stressed that within the negotiation there are political interests that keep tempers heated, so they hope these problems will be corrected and dialogue will be held in the interest of the country and not of a few.
