The Social Prosperity program of the National government, Stores for the People, opened 2,000 more places to access the subsidy, aimed at improving the socioeconomic conditions of the most affected neighborhood stores during the pandemic.
(Convenience stores increase sales by more than 60%).
“The program reactivates neighborhood stores through training to reinforce personal and business skills. It offers a capitalization of up to 2 million pesos: inventories of food, groceries and cleaning products, which allow them to participate again in the supply chain of their territory”, pointed out the director (e) of Social Prosperity, Pierre García Jacquier.
This new call also includes five workshops, on topics such as resilience, digital marketing, formalization and administration, and three visits over five months, to monitor the store’s reactivation process.
(D1 cuts distance in his sales to Success).
From July 6 to July 8, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. registrations will be open in the towns of Usaquén, Santa Fe, San Cristóbal, Usme, Tunjuelito, Bosa, Kennedy, Suba, Rafael Uribe Uribe and Ciudad Bolívar.
