Man who forced a teenage girl into a vehicle and raped her is sentenced to 20 years in prison

The man forced her to get on her motorized vehicle and took her to a remote place where he proceeded to sexually abuse her, said the prosecutor assigned to the case, Juan Melean.

After that, the aggressor abandoned her near her home, where the victim, upon arriving home, told what had happened to her and her relatives filed the complaint immediately.

the prosecutor ddepartment of Oruro, Orlando Zapata, indicated that in an oral trial hearing, the Public Ministry demonstrated with convincing evidence that Brayan is the author of the crime of rape, committed against a minor under 13 years of age, for which the jurisdictional authority of the The 3rd Criminal Sentencing Court determined the sentence of 20 years in the San Pedro prison in the capital of Oruro.

“During the hearing we presented all the evidence collected during the preparatory stage of the investigation, such as witness statements, the forensic medical certificate that demonstrates the existence of the fact, among others evidence that proves that Brayan Yavi Chambi is the author of the crime under investigation,” Zapata said.
