Police officers from the Central Directorate of Investigation, Dicrim, arrested a man who was wanted by arrest warrant for the death of a senior sergeant retired from the institution, and for the gunshot wounds caused to a woman.
Dicrim ensures that the event that occurred in September 2021, It was motivated by a rubbing of vehicles on Charles de Gaulle Avenue, in the Villa Carmen sector, Santo Domingo Este municipality.
The detainee is Anthony Jean Cedeño alias Deño and/or Quico, of legal age, who was seized with the Glock brand pistol, caliber 9mm, series BMKZ626, which he was carrying illegally. When purged, the person involved appeared with a record for violation of Law 50-88 on controlled substances.
Cedeño was wanted as one of the alleged participants in the murder of the retired police non-commissioned officer Rafael Calzado, 56, and the wound caused to the young Ana Miguel Lugo Cena, 29, the latter was in the company of the attackers.
For this case, Brian Abraham Santana Duval, alias Brian Trebol, 25, was arrested by arrest warrant on September 18, 2021, identified by witnesses as one of the alleged perpetrators of the act.
