Jorge Cao, one of the most recognized actors who has appeared on Colombian television, will not play his role as grandfather “Martín Acevedo” in the second season of ‘Passion of Hawks’.
The Cuban had already made it known in September of this year. Apparently it was all due to a personal decision by the 77-year-old actor.
“It is a personal decision, thank you for so much love received,” he said in a video on his Instagram account.

In his replacement will be Germán Quintero, a well-known Colombian actor who has been in productions such as ‘Escobar: The pattern of evil’, ‘The saga: family business’, ‘Chepe Fortuna’, ‘Capital sins’, Chepe fortuna; among other great series and soap operas.
The 65-year-old from Bogota has been very happy to play one of the most beloved characters in history between ‘The Elizondo’ and ‘The Kings’.
It will be a great acting challenge for him since the image of Cao persists in the retina of the lovers of this story written by the Colombian Julio Jiménez.
