After losing 2-0 in the round of 16 last week, Dragão needed to win by at least two goals to force the dispute of the maximum penalties. And so the team led by coach Jorginho did, with goals from Churín and Airton.
In penalties, Atlético-GO players did not fail, while Hugo Quintana lost for Olimpia. Now, Dragon takes on Nacional (Uruguay) in the next phase.
