This Thursday, July 7, the Plenary of Congress resumed the debate on the constitutional reform bill that aims to reinstate the bicameral systemafter it was suspended last Wednesday by the Board of Directors to give priority to other legislative initiatives.
In the last session, the president of the Constitution Commission, Patricia Juárez, supported the project. In the debate, the legislator from Fuerza Popular argued that with the return to bicamerality Parliamentary representation will be strengthened.
He also indicated that greater control will be generated in the content of the bills so that they reflect real solutions to the problems. “That is why the people elected us and we are in Congress,” he said.
