The Superintendency of Banking, Insurance and AFPs (SBS) declared this Thursday, July 7, the dissolution of four savings and credit cooperatives (Coopac) for being involved in the cause of conclusion of the specific purpose for which it was constituted, without having accredited its removal, in accordance with the grounds detailed in this resolution. .
The texts published today in El Peruano indicate that according to articles 3 and 4 of the Procedure, “It is up to Coopac to prove that they have lifted the cause or causes that determined the request for dissolution and liquidation presented before the Judicial Power and, if the lifting is not proven, the Superintendency issues the corresponding resolution of dissolution and appoints a temporary administrator who assumes the representation”.

In this sense, the regulation stipulates that cooperatives must be dissolved and a temporary administrator appointed to represent them; which, in turn, in accordance with the provisions of article 5 of the Procedure, must verify if there are assets to be liquidated.
The dissolved cooperatives are:
- Tumán Savings and Credit Cooperative
- Tupac Amaru Savings and Credit Cooperative
- New World Textile Savings and Credit Cooperative 161
- Luz y Vida Multi-Sectoral Savings and Credit Cooperative
In application of article 9 of the Regulation of Special Regimes as of the date of publication of this resolution, the dissolved Coopacs are prohibited from:
- Initiate legal or administrative proceedings against you for the collection of credits at your expense.
- Pursue the execution of judicial resolutions issued against them.
- Constitute liens on any of the assets in guarantee of the obligations that concern him.
- Make payments, advances or compensations, or assume obligations on her behalf, with the funds or assets that belong to her and are in the possession of third parties.
- Establish a precautionary measure against their assets.
