The will to live was stronger than the disease. At 82 years old, comedian David Santalla has just announced that beat leukemia and a medical test reveals that the cancer is in remission.
Through social networks, Santalla’s wife, Sandra Saavedra, shared the miracle of their lives. And it is that since they knew the diagnosis, together they faced the abandonment of the authorities and the unfortunate public health systemand, against all odds, the actor and director is already healthy and at home.
A medical test, taken on May 10, returns the result of “bone marrow compatible with remission“.
“I still remember when they told me in the hospital: “lady, sleep with your cell phone next to you because we can call you at any time”, more, when I got home, God told me the opposite and I believed him, “saavedra wrote together to another photograph of the great David Santalla, somewhat thinner, but smiling.
With this good news, the actor also confirmed his return to the stage this July 9 and 10, at the July 16 theater in La Paz.
