The Minister of Public Works, Gabriel Katopodis, presented this Thursday Argentina Grande, the Public Works Plan for the Development of the Nation, which includes the main actions of his portfolio and the 120 works of strategic infrastructure for a federal development, as part of the 5,000 works in progress in all the country.
According to information from the Ministry, the Great Argentina Plan defines and organizes the strategic actions and infrastructure works for the federal and balanced development of the country.
In this sense, it contemplates four main axes: connectivity and road infrastructure; comprehensive management of water resources in relation to drinking water and sanitation; rural and urban infrastructure; and care infrastructure for comprehensive health care, childhood, gender, youth and the elderly.
In addition, the plan proposes to formulate a public investment guide that allows consolidating an economic and social agreement, generating employment and foreign exchange, and modifying the matrix of territorial opportunities.
The Ministry has 4,997 public works throughout Argentinawhich can be consulted and controlled through the MapaInversiones platform.
Also, today there are 450,000 jobs generated in construction.
