THE Brazil Communication Company (EBC) entered into a partnership with Canal Rural to supply content for the new season of National Agroa program produced by TV Brazil. The unprecedented fourth season, scheduled to premiere next Sunday (10), gains, through the partnership, a new format and new presenter, journalist Jaqueline Silva. In 52 episodes per week, the new season will also feature articles and script supervision by Canal Rural. The attraction will be shown Sunday at 9 am and the rerun on Saturdays at 8 am.
“Agribusiness is one of the pillars of the Brazilian economy. We are a reference in productivity, technology, innovation and production management and some say that Brazil will feed the world. That’s why this partnership is so important”, comments Glen Valente, CEO of EBC. Along with Canal Rural, a vehicle whose mission is to report on agribusiness 24 hours a day, EBC will be disseminated through TV Brazil and National Public Communication Network (RNCP), the sector’s potential in a dynamic and interesting way, always focusing on our viewers with relevant and quality content, completes Valente.
For the president of Canal Rural, Júlio Cargnino, the program will offer an opportunity for the general public to know more about the countryside. “The rural producer will see himself, but the urban public, who has never set foot on a farm, will be able to see a window to the countryside of Brazil as well.”
The program National Agro was highlighted in the second edition of the Os +Admirados da Imprensa do Agronegócio award, promoted by Jornalistas&Cia. The attraction was among the top three in the Open TV Program category.
Founded 25 years ago, Canal Rural publishes the main news in the areas of agriculture and livestock, with news that include expert opinions, quotes, weather forecast and live transmissions of auctions in the sector. It is the main communication platform specialized in agribusiness in Brazil, aimed at millions of rural producers.

O National Agro brings the world of the countryside today to the small screen. With interviews, reports and updated data, the production of TV Brazil addresses topics that involve rural culture in a simple way and with language accessible to all audiences.
In a variety of settings, the public broadcaster’s attraction displays articles from the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation (Embrapa), partners such as the Vale Agrícola channel and the affiliated broadcasters that make up the National Public Communication Network (RNCP).
