Social Prosperity announced that with the purpose of contributing to the economic reactivation of the vulnerable population, financial incentives will be granted to nearly 2,000 shopkeepers in Bogotá through the ‘Stores for People’ initiative, in which training will also be offered specialized to promote the economy of small entrepreneurs.
Those interested will have a deadline only for this week to be able to register this strategy with which, according to the government, It will allow shopkeepers to be better merchants and continue to lead within their communities and thus strengthen economic reactivation.

“Since Social Prosperity We are going to support 2,000 neighborhood stores in Bogotáa program that will give two million pesos to each beneficiary in assortment, we are going to help give new inventory to small shopkeepers and we will be working between Wednesday, July 6 and Friday, July 8, to carry out pre-registration in the different city locations“, explained the director (e) of Social Prosperity, Pierre García Jacquier.
He added that “small shopkeepers who have a Sisbén score between A1 and A5, B1 and B7who are currently shopkeepers, we will make the visits to verify it, and who have not been beneficiaries of entrepreneurship and social prosperity programscould be beneficiaries of this new cycle of ‘Stores for the People'”.
