From this Friday, December 10, it will be mandatory to present the vaccination card that registers the two doses against COVID-19 for adults over 18 years of age entering enclosed spaces. The measure was ordered as a preventive action against a possible third wave, the alert of the new Omicron variant and advance the immunization process with a view to reaching 80% coverage of the target population before the end of the year.

In this way, the citizen to have entry to these places will be able to show the physical or virtual card that will have a QR code that can be scanned by the user to the staff of the district municipality or agents of the National Police, who will be in charge of assisting with the supervision of this provision.
Where will the document be required?
The DS 168-2021-PCM -published last November 13th- should start its application December 15. However, the Minister of Health, Hernando Cevallos, announced the advance date. The standard specifies the places where the presentation of the vaccination certificate against the COVID-19.
- Closed spaces (shopping centers, restaurants, theaters, cinemas, concerts, markets, commercial conglomerates such as Mesa Redonda, Gamarra and others).

How to download a certificate to validate your vaccination?
By the web
- Login to https://gis.minsa.gob.pe/CarneVacunacion/
- Enter the DNI number, date of birth and date of issue.
- Click on Login
- Click on the option ‘View QR code’ to access the vaccination certificate.
Through the mobile app
- Download the Vaccination card application on your Android mobile phone.
- Register the requested data (date of birth, ID, among others).
- Check the details of your vaccine and click on see QR code.
- Enter the option “See certificate”.
- Obtain the Covid-19 Digital vaccination card.
- Do not forget to keep your QR code for the validation of your card.
How do I validate my vaccination if I got immunized abroad?
The Ministry of Health (Minsa) indicated to the Andean Agency that the vaccination certificates obtained abroad they are also valid.
Free vaccination card printing at Round Table
The Municipality of Lima (MML) implemented five modules (two of them for preferential attention) in Round table, where neighbors and merchants receive, free of charge, their vaccination certificate and printed QR code.
The modules will remain until January 15 at the junction of the shreds Ayacucho and Cusco, Cercado, from 9 am to 5 pm.
