Embassies of Venezuela commemorate signing of independence

With different activities, the embassies of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela commemorated this Tuesday the 211 years since the signing of the Act of Independence.

The diplomatic representatives of the country in different nations throughout the world celebrated with protocol acts a new anniversary of July 5, 1811, and the Day of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces.

In the Kingdom of Norway, the Embassy of Venezuela honored the Liberator Simón Bolívar with a floral offering placed on the bust located in the facilities of the Venezuelan Embassy, ​​in the city of Oslo.

At the Swiss Confederation, Ambassador Roy Antonio Chaderton Matos shared with the diplomatic corps of several countries and friends of the country “the joy of celebrating in this Bicentennial era 211 years later, our emancipatory deed”

The ambassador highlighted the important participation in the fight for the Independence of Francisco de Miranda, who lived in Switzerland in 1788, which he called “the Country of Blessed Freedom”.

In the city of Berlin, the Embassy of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in Germany also commemorated the 211th anniversary of the signing of the Act of Independence, with a tribute to the effort and courage of the Father of the Nation, Liberator Simón Bolívar, and the Generalissimo , Francisco de Miranda. A floral offering was placed in the vicinity of the Ibero-American Institute in Berlin, where the statue of the Liberator Simón Bolívar is located.

The acts in commemoration of the 211 of the declaration of the Independence of Venezuela were replicated in all corners of the world, including Brussels, Grenada, Panama, Cuba, Dominica, France, Palestine, Spain, Jamaica, PhilippinesSuriname and Hungary among many other countries.

New emancipatory feat

The acts for the 211 years of the Declaration of Independence were the propitious scenario to remind the world of Venezuela’s struggle to vindicate international law, and defend the principles of self-determination and non-interference in internal affairs.

The country’s diplomatic representatives agreed to highlight the new emancipatory feat in the face of imperial impositions and the effects of unilateral coercive measures imposed.
