The rigourous honors were paid by the Sectorial Vice President for Political Sovereignty, Security and Peace, GJ Vladímir Padrino López, together with AJ Remigio Ceballos, Vice President of the Government for Citizen Security, and Minister of People’s Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace, and JG Domingo Antonio Hernández Lárez, commander of the Strategic Operational Command of the National Armed Forces (Ceofanb).
Afterwards, the members of the Military High Command paid honors to the sarcophagus that keeps the mortal remains of the Father of the Nation, Simón Bolívar.
