Since last June 23, the Ministry of Production, Science and Technology of the province of Buenos Aires enabled the second edition of Alumni tripsin which more than 50,000 students have already enrolled.
This means that the number of young people registered in the first edition of the Programsince, by then, 30 thousand students were benefited with the alumni trips.
From the ministry they have qualified the alumni trips as a success, because the program has been “total madness” and not only favors students, it also promotes tourism and job creation.
For this second edition, the program seeks to reach 220,000 final year students from schools in Buenos Airesso there is a deadline to sign up until July 31.
In this regard, the Minister of Production, Augusto Costa, in dialogue with the Uncover assured: “With this policy we are giving the possibility to thousands of girls and boys who for economic reasons cannot make the graduate trip and, on many occasions, to to know for the first time different localities of the province”.
And he added that thanks to the success of the first call, this year more students participated: “Word of mouth is fundamental to these policies and everything worked so well the first time that many more schools have now signed up.”
Likewise, the minister stated that the provincial government will invest $500 million to finance the program that during the previous edition generated more than 500 jobs in the low season.
What does the program include
The alumni trips financed by the provincial government they include packages of four days and three nights in different tourist destinations in the province; In addition, two daily excursions and one at night.
All travel expenses will be included, that is, transfer, hotel, gastronomy and insurance. The second edition will close registration on July 31, so that students can travel between September 15 and November 30.
