The Minister of Economy, Silvina Batakis, stated on Monday night that on Tuesday she will communicate “with the technicians of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), to analyze the situation.”
Speaking to cable channel C5N, he said he will speak to analyze “the progress of the agreement and see how we can continue working.”
In addition, he pointed out that the team that will accompany his management is “polishing” it with President Alberto Fernández. “I have it closed but we are working on it,” he said.
Meanwhile, Batakis admitted that she feels “very comfortable with the official exchange rate,” and defined the blue dollar as “a marginal market.”
He expressed that “the blue market is a very marginal market, but it is in the collective conscience of the people, like the country risk. Large operations are made at the official exchange rate with which I feel comfortable and it is an exchange rate of Balance”.
